Proverbs

To live is to learn.

Deal with this fox with care.

If you give up ur pride, what are you left with.

Home is where the heart is.

You will gain much if you are honest.

Make hay will the sun shines.

Call no man happy till he dies.

Do justice and love mercy.

Live honest and pay every man his due.

Live and let live.

Bookes and friends should be few and good.

Paule Hewson

Paul Hewson ,alias Bono, has been singing with U2 since its early days in 1976,when the band was called the Hype.He wrote all of U2'slyrics,sometimes helped by guitarrist David Evens, known as the Edge;Their first album;Boy,was released in 1980,but it's since the release of the Joushoa Tree in 1987,the U2 became superstars. However,Bono's musical career is not the only reason he's famous. He worked with humanitarian organisations like Amnesty International and Greenpeace for many years. On top of that ,he met several important public figures like Pop and George W.Bush to discuss the issue of world poverty.
Dispite his superstare status,Bono has managed to maintain a relatively stable private life.He was married to his sweetheart Ali Stewart since 1982 and they lived in Killiney,Irland, with thier four children, for over 20years

What is special about a live music performance?

Although we are surrounded by recorded music, live performances are still popular. This is because they offer an experience that you can only get at a live event.

Firstly, you can really conrentrate when you are watching a live performance because there are no distructions. At home ,you can listen to recordings, but there is always something else happening around you.

Socondly,a live performance is more genious than a recorded perfofmance because you know it has not been changed. In a studio,it is easy to correct mistakes.

Finally, what i love most about performances is sharing an exciting experience with everybody else in the audience. My ideal night out would be a rock concert in a stadium with fifty thousand other fans.

To conclude,i would say that, although recorded music is cheaper and more convenient,it can never replace the excitement of live gig.
